

This could result in it only turning one way, or the servo screaming as it's trying to return to center but never can. If not, it'll slip and the servo will loose center. The plastic half gear has to click fully down on the sensor shaft. There is a sensor shaft connecting to a potentiometer internally (by the electronics in the top bay) and the weird gear that only has teeth around half the circumference. I've had good experience with the stock servo's, and only stripped the internal gears once. After which I had some weird behavior that took me a moment to troubleshoot.
